Avoid like the plague - there are dozens of 1-5 star reviews for good reason

− No water supply until 11pm that night, 9 hours after I’d checked in. When asking the host why this was the case, they attempted to divert by randomly asking about which Chinese zodiac it was that year. Completely racially insensitive and inappropriate comment reflecting their lack of professionalism and education. Upon escalating and confronting them on only mentioning the water supply issue after money had changed hands, they suddenly became aggressive and threatened to kick me out (knowing it was far too late to now find alternative accommodation). Don’t need to go into detail about how a lack of water supply even for basic hygiene, like washing your hands or flushing the toilet would be problematic, but what was notable was their complete lack of empathy and any attempt to offer any temporary solution, even something as simple as a couple of bottles of water so I could at least wash my hands. The cherry on top was the host threatening to call the police the following day because she thought I’d taken the key with me upon checking out. I encouraged her to do so, as it would have been hilarious for the police to get there only to find out the key, as I’d told her, was in the keyhole from the inside of the front door that I had not locked. The problem was the host did not know how to operate her own front door, and in her arrogance and capacity for vivid imagination, had jumped to the conclusion that I must have stolen it. After coaching her on how to enter her own property, and several consecutive borderline harassment level calls from her later while I was in the middle of a tour in Kazbegi, there was no apology for her rudeness and lack of professionalism, nor any confirmation that she’d finally managed to gain entry and find the key. All in all, I wouldn’t trust this host to manage a packet of haribos, nor to tie her own shoe laces, let alone manage your holiday accommodation on which you will decide whether to spend your hard earned money.
