Good but not '5 Star' great
+ Friendly staff, spacious and good choice at breakfast.
− Felt the room was very tired, too much crammed small bathroom (only rain shower worked, not the handheld), didn't have everything suggested by website (robe, slippers), hairdryer had to be requested (presumably iron too).

Not a bad stay but definitely not a 5 star hotel!
+ The location and the price
− The general state of cleanliness in the bedroom (stains on walls, aging white goods, slight feeling of dampness in the bed) detracted from the good impression. On the other hand this hotel was marketed as a 5 star hotel. Given the expectations we were quite disappointed as there is no way it could be one.

+ The value for money
− This hotel is marketed as a five star hotel, which could not be further from what we experienced, given the aging facilities and the general state of cleanliness in the bedroom (slightly damp bed linen, dirty walls...). We did not have a bad stay, but we expected more from the supposed standard of a 5 star hotel.

Saraya was OK.
+ Staff were great. Bedroom was big. Restaurant meal was very good.
− Shower in the bath was average as water poured onto the floor. Breakfast was overpriced & lacked variety. Located outside city central so used ubers/ taxis a lot. Prices varied which was annoying. Couldnt walk along the corniche as temps were stifling.

− They have a nightclub that is loud at night, making it not family-friendly I don't believe they are 5 stars hotels they are around 3 stars

Place is ok
+ When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Everyone was pleasant and cheerful. The service was really good.
− The AC wasn't cold enough even though it was at the coldest setting. It's summer in Qatar, ACs should've been the most important part of facilities. It was seen by the engineering dept but they only said to check again after 30 mins. We reported after 30 mins that it's still not cold but they didn't do anything about it. The phone wasn't working but when we told them,, it was fixed right away.

− The AC it’s too much noisy for my room and floor 10 and also the White curtain is missing so if morning in the room, it’s too much sunlight coming inside
