Enjoyed our stay and the location was apt for our trip to Mumbai this time
+ The breakfast is really good. Live cooking station with omelette, Masala dosa, etc. Clean, good sized room and bathroom. The staff are very helpful. We've stayed here before hence knew what to expect.

The rating of 8 on Booking.com is very misleading. The rating should be 3
+ Very unsatisfactory for international travellers. Very gloomy hotel. Location was horrific. Close to the railway lines. Certain taxi drivers did not know the place existed. The restaurant was very basic. choice of meals extremely basic. The staff were friendly but that did not make up for the gloomy faced men at reception.
− I was first given a secluded room which was stuffy. After I complained at reception, I was given a better room which was airy and had street facing windows. The shower does not have a glass partition which meant that water splashed over the entire washroom If you had to go back into the washroom after a shower, you had put up with water over the toilet seat and floor. It was horrible.

− I had another booking from a different platform and I had spoken to them about continuing my stay but they without permission entered my room and changed my stuff which had valuables including cash and laptop. No one had authorised them to do so and we had already spoken to them about continuing the same room over the bookings

+ very nice rooms, amazing staff and very good breakfast. Hotel located near dockyard road station, only few minutes from csmt terminal and fort area also uber is very convenient, so you can stay here for better value and quality away from colaba and fort area where you get worst quality for same price

+ The price is quite affordable. The location is good if you want to visit the city center of Mumbai. The staff is very helpful. The room offers teapot, cups, tea and coffee.
− Saw a couple of cockroaches. I personally don't care about roaches, but not everyone likes them. Also one of the windows was missing the handle so it was impossible to close it. That let the dust from the street enter the room, so near that window the floor was slightly dirty.
