Very welcoming, nice, and safe!

+ The owner and staff are super nice and polite, and quite helpful. I felt as if I was staying at my relative's house. The breakfast is super generous. Wi-Fi was good. The location is quite central and accessible by any means of transportation. Near Taksim Square, Galata Tower, Galata Port, etc., all just a few steps away...

− There's no elevator, and my room was on the 3rd floor. But that's ok for me. Not a big deal :)

+ From the bottom of my heart, I can highly recommend this hotel. It was honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at during my solo travels. I usually stay in hostels when I travel alone, so booking a hotel this time was a bit of a change for me and I do not regret it. From the very first moment, I felt incredibly comfortable. It’s a small, family-run hotel, and you can truly feel the warmth of the family behind it. The owner’s mother prepares a fresh Turkish breakfast every single morning- where do you find something like that anymore?! It makes the whole experience feel so personal and special. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome. The family and the entire crew are very kind and attentive. They really listen to you and, if you have any special requests, they genuinely try their best to make them happen! After personally welcoming me and giving me some great advice, I was immediately given a whole list of local restaurant recommendations- not just the typical tourist places, but genuine local suggestions and -of course- çay! You shouldn’t expect high-end luxury here, and that’s not what this hotel is about. But if you are looking for a place where you can feel at home, be treated warmly and have a central location, you are absolutely in the right place. I travelled to Istanbul alone, and this hotel made me feel safe and was a great place to recharge my social battery. Thank you to the whole crew for making my stay so special! Teşekkürler! And they even have their own lovely cat chilling in the lobby, which you can pet whenever you feel like it. 🐈‍⬛

− The hotel does have several entrances, and I have to admit that when I first arrived, I was a little confused about where to go. But I figured it out within a few minutes. The entrance is to the right, up the stairs. :)

Quiet and modern hotel in the middle of the city

+ Good location, close to bus stop to reach any are easily. Good huge breakfast. Stylish and modern room, looks really good. Comfortable bed, I slept very good. And I didn’t hear anyone from other rooms or from street, so soundproof is good. Very nice people works there.

− I feel that breakfast is too big for one person and it’s sad to waste food, maybe better let people choose from big table like buffet?

+ We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very kind and always available to help, especially when we needed recommendations for activities and places to visit. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a great location close to Taksim, which made getting around very easy. Breakfast was also good and had a nice selection. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely stay here again!

The best choice in Istanbul - central, value for money and top notch hospitality

+ Everything about the property was amazing. Briefly about the hotel, I have to say that the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast really nice both in variety and quantity, and the location very central (walking distance to Taksim square - and a bus stop was just above the hotel with connections to everywhere we were interested in visiting). I have to emphasise here that we were two girls travelling together and the location never felt unsafe. All in all, a super valuable for money choice, that is really hard to be matched. Beyond the hotel itself, what really needs to be said is that the hospitality was above and beyond. We really appreciated it, felt so welcome and we are already looking forward to visiting again!

Recommended for a short stay

+ Basically, this property consists of three buildings/entrances, and the entrance shown on Google Maps is misleading. The price is very fair, especially considering the quality and location - short walks to Taksim and İstiklal Avenue. My room (#51) was very spacious and had a colorful terrace overlooking Istanbul. Breakfast was large and sufficient, although the selection was almost the same every day. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They offer complimentary tea on every occasion. The Wi-Fi was also good and reliable. There are facilities available for storing your luggage.

− The building I stayed in is a historic building without an elevator. My room was on the 4th floor, which was perfectly fine for me, but it could be challenging for some guests, I specifically requested a quiet room, and the hotel did accommodate my request. However, the room was still close enough to a mosque that the morning prayers could be heard quite clearly. There was no minibar in the room, and the terrace door had an issue with the lock.

I would go back again. Really well designed. The owner and staff were great.
