هتل Old Money Boutique Hotel

Very Good

+ The hotel is located in a quiet, safe area, close to the Old Town. The room was clean, the furniture was in good condition, and the bathroom had been modernly renovated.

− The hotel's exact location doesn't match the one shown on Google Maps, making it rather hard to spot when arriving at 5 AM. Although we had notified them of our arrival time, the receptionist was asleep. They operate another hotel a few streets away, which is where they keep the phone and the card payment terminal. When we called that number, someone answered, but no one came over from the other hotel to let us in. Eventually, after we persisted at the door, the receptionist woke up and opened it for us. Our room was on the ground floor and faced a private courtyard where people would drink their morning coffee right beneath our window; consequently, we couldn't keep the curtains open or the window ajar. Breakfast is served at the other hotel and is far from impressive—basic at best—and they lacked coffee and water (I believe the coffee was instant, if I recall correctly).

+ Great location, near all attractions. Nice and friendly staff.

− It wasn't very clean, when we arrived shower had someone else's hair. Whole room had awful sewage smell coming from bathroom, and the room had been cells for the whole stay, cleaning lady only replaced towels.

Exceptional

+ Excellent hotel! The rooms are modern, very clean, and comfortable — you can tell everything has been thought out to the smallest detail. Special mention goes to the breakfast — everything was fresh, varied, and truly delicious. The location was great as well.

+ Очень атмосферный бутик-отель с особым характером. Уютные номера, стильный интерьер и отличное расположение в самом центре города. Понравилось ощущение, будто остановились не в обычном отеле, а в красивом месте с собственной историей. Однозначно хочется вернуться!

Desaster

− We have booked the hotel with months before the F1, the hotel has cancelled the booking the day we were travelling, by playing our credit cards, I put several cards they refused all of them. After the cancellation, they increase the proce of the room by 5.

Terrible experience - cancelled my reservation as I arrived and rebooked for a higher price

+ Location seemed to be great but it took time to find the hotel as the location on google maps is not precise. I had to ask for directions

− Terrible experience as the hotel cancelled my booking 2 hours before my arrival in Baku during F1 when all hotels were sold out and left me stranded. They had promised me the same day my reservation was confirmed but also said they prefer payments in cash and that my reservation was not expensive enough compared to current prices in Baku. They said officially they cancelled because my credit card was invalid, that’s not true, it was working perfectly in another hotel in Baku and in shops. They said that when they cancelled my reservation, they were able to get another booking immediately at a much higher price since everything was sold out due to F1

+ Отель очень понравился! Достаточно компактный, расположен в хорошем районе, вблизи которого находятся основные достопримечательности города, при этом в самом отеле не шумно. У нас была комната на втором этаже, уборка и замена полотенец проходила ежедневно, в номере уже были предметы для личной гигиены, тапочки и даже халат. Хочу отметить персонал, в особенности администратор - Адиль, очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый, все просьбы обрабатываются мгновенно. Также и персонал другого отеля, в котором проходили завтраки, вызвал только положительные эмоции, все очень добродушные. Завтраки скромные, но голодным не уйдешь, можно для себя что-то выбрать.

− Нас это никак не смутило, но возможно кому-то будет принципиально, что завтраки проходят в другом отеле (расположен в 2-3 минутах ходьбы).
