+ The overall experience was good. Room 517 had a great view. Housekeeping was excellent.
− The reception first wanted to give a room on 4th floor. I insisted a room on 6th floor since i have access to premier lounge. The room alloted was 666 which had a bad view though i booked a superior room and the room key was dysfunctional. Then i went down to the reception insisted an odd room number with roundabout city view. The reception was using a defective card swipe machine ( red & white) and rejecting my card.. i ultimately paid by UPI. Moreover on Aug 25, twice food booked by some other room was almost served to us. It happened at 4pm once and the next time at midnight when we were asleep. The premier lounge service was stretched on Aug 25.. Thankfully the checkout was smooth. During last visit i was allotted the room 605. The room was excellent.

+ I had a lovely stay at Novotel — the rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly. However, a few things could be improved:
− Booking.com app communication: It took a really long time to get a response through the Booking.com app. You could only reach them by phone if you had an Indian phone number — there was no way to contact them via WhatsApp or other messaging apps, which was frustrating for international travelers. Hotel cab/ride pricing: The hotel's cab service was 4-5 times more expensive compared to booking an Uber directly. It would be great if the hotel offered more transparent or competitive pricing for guests who need transportation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend the hotel, but these are areas that could really enhance the guest experience.
