− the hotel is old the bed was clean but in overall condition is poor and it's the time for renovation at welfare facilities the food option is limited and the pricing is affordable

I like hotel due to it’s proximity close to matrah and food quality is also best with lot of options.

− Parking is not reserved for the hotel guests, it’s difficult to find the palace in that area, hotel must reserve the parking for guests.

A great budget choice for Muscat
+ This was a terrific option in a city that seemed to have few options for budget accommodation. Staff were friendly; there's an on-site restaurant if you don't want to head out; and it's an easy 20-minute walk to the corniche and souq. My room was large and had a desk. The bathroom was small bad entirely adequate.
− The breakfast was a little uninspiring and was served in the restaurant which was very dimly-lit. Turn on some lights, friends!

Stay in the hotel and breakfast was good except the option of Dinner and Lunch.
+ The location was good, you can get the taxi and reach the Corniche and Mutrah Souq within 5-10 mins. And all the other attractions within 30 mins by taxi. Room was okay and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good.
− I have paid for the dinner, every dish which was order they serve it lots of chillies, although I have instructed repeatedly I don't want chillies in my food but my request was ignored, so I have resorted to eat outside. Once I did the lunch in the Hill Kitchen restaurant, I was told I could not order from the menu they only have a Thaali dishes ,so I ordered chicken, which on arrival doesn't have any chicken (just vegetables and chillies)there. In the restaurant the male waiters are better than female waiters(no bias), since they are very arrogant ,ignore your instructions and misguide you while selecting about the spice level).

+ In my opinion is one of the best location, if you want visit Mutrah area. The staff is very helpfull and the rooms are clean.
