Excellent hotel, but service could be warmer

+ * Good location on the main road to Rize, around 10 minutes from the airport, with underground parking. * Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with excellent beds, sea views and good toiletries. Outside noise well neutralised. * Bathrooms were spacious, very clean and well maintained, with good quality toiletries provided. * Excellent breakfast with a very good choice and freshly prepared food. The chefs were brilliant. * Zeynep from the breakfast service team deserves special mention for being exceptionally hardworking and helpful. * Cafés and shops under the hotel, with plenty of restaurants within a short drive and Trabzon city centre around 15 minutes away.

− * The welcome at check-in could be warmer. Our passports were taken and room cards handed over, but there was no welcome or assistance to the rooms. * At breakfast, there was no one to guide guests to a table, and sometimes we had to find a table ourselves or ask for one to be cleared. * Although the rooms were cleaned well, there were occasional small oversights, such as pillows being left on the floor and wooden tea stirrers not being replenished. Overall: A very good hotel with excellent rooms, bathrooms, breakfast and location. A little more warmth, attentiveness and attention to detail would make the experience even better.

Exceptional

+ Clean and comfortable stay, with nice views of the sea. Breakfast was really really excellent! There are some nice shops and restaurants within walking distance.

− We were there in the end of August and it felt slightly too warm inside the building and elevator (nothing unbearable though)

Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Rize – Clean, comfortable stay with a great sea view

+ We stayed at the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in Rize and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean throughout, and our sea-view room on the seventh floor offered a really nice view of the water. Breakfast was delicious, room service was reliable, and parking was available for our car, which made things easy. The location is convenient if you’re flying in or out — about a 30-minute drive from the airport. The staff were excellent, especially the reception team, who were consistently friendly and helpful. Check-out was also quick and straightforward.

− The only area that could improve is the restaurant. It would benefit from more variety on the menu, particularly more Turkish cuisine options — it felt a bit surprising to find limited local dishes while staying in Turkey. Overall, a comfortable and well-run hotel that we’d be happy to recommend for a stay in Rize

Short break holiday

+ The hotel lobby is excellent, featuring a lovely outdoor café and a delicious and varied breakfast buffet at a great price of approximately 630 lira (50 dirhams or riyals). This is significantly cheaper than the price per person at outside restaurants. − The stuff of the restaurant not good i asked only for bread and and they didn’t agree to bring i already have the food but there are no bread to eat in the breakfast , the barista was talking so badly when i asked only for water he was talking sooo badly with ugly face
