Gorgeous oasis with a small boutique feel 🌴💫

+ Absolutely gorgeous boutique little hotel. An oasis outside of the hustle & bustle of Ulu’s. Staff were so welcoming and happy to help in any way. Nothing was too much trouble and they made great oat milk coffee. Rooms were very clean & spacious with very comfortable beds with quality linen. Great communal kitchen and rooftop lounge to chill in. Pool was sparkling clean, so peaceful to chill around and never felt busy. Was a beautiful place to relax and reset with great calm vibes and greenery 🌴 Loved my solo stay here and would highly recommend 💫

− Location was a little far from cafes, restaurants and Uluwatu/Bingin area (around 15 mins on a motorbike at busy times). Grab drivers had no trouble finding it though. Entrance road was unpaved and not well lit. Hard to walk anywhere close except Nyang Nyang beach. There is a wonderful cafe next door (Mesa play) and Indian restaurant a few mins but that’s really it within walking distance so just be aware of that.

+ The accommodation itself is beautiful, the villas are stunning, and the staff is very kind.

− It would be good to have a small fridge in the rooms. Also, there is a massive construction project underway on the neighboring plot—which, of course, isn't the owners' fault, though it is worth noting—and there is a padel court right next door where people shout until late at night, and you can hear everything. Because of this, you can only relax during the day if you wear headphones. Furthermore, while it is true that the place is only 300 meters away [from the water], no one mentions that you have to go down 600 steep steps to reach the shore, and not everyone necessarily has the stamina for that. The accommodation is far from the town, so you definitely need a way to get there, though this is easily managed.

+ Very friendly staff, the setting of the rooms were amazing. We really liked the bohemian style of the room.

− The road (about 150m) leading upto the hotel is bumpy. Initially when we switched on the shower, there was a smell in the water.

A beautiful and relaxing hotel with excellent staff and a lovely atmosphere. With a few small improvements to the intern

+ really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The overall design was beautiful, and the combination of the rooms and the swimming pool created a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, cosy and well maintained. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful, making me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.

− The only issues were with the internet connection, as both the Wi-Fi and the mobile network were unreliable at times, especially around the bathroom area. I would also recommend improving the bathroom design. There was a gap around the door or window frame that allowed insects and small animals to enter the room. I normally don’t mind wildlife, but sealing this opening would make the room even more comfortable while maintaining the high standard of cleanliness.

+ We absolutely loved everything about Mayiki! The rooms are stunning, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The hotel is spotless, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. It has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere — the perfect place to unwind. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back! It’s also in a great location, close to everything. Truly one of the best places to stay in Uluwatu.

− The only small downside was the access road to the hotel, which has some potholes and isn’t paved. However, this is quite common in Bali, especially for villas, so it didn’t bother us at all and didn’t take away from our amazing stay.

+ this was the one of the best places I have stayed in my life! it was so beautiful - the pool, the room, the staff, everything! i couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and thank you so much to the staff for making it so wonderful. i came early in the morning due to a early morning flight and they let me lounge around the pool and made sure i was comfortable the whole time. if i ever have the chance to come back i will be staying here 10000%!
