+ I loved the location so so much, it was in the centre of everything. Check in was pretty easy

− I didn’t like the elevator because it’s too small and one of the lights up the stairs didn’t work lol creepy.

Exceptional

+ The location is central and close to everything. It's easy to take the bus (just 3 minutes away) toward Konyaalti and Lara. The host was amazing with great communication—they even helped me speak with the taxi driver! On my first morning, I asked for two large bottles of water (before realizing how close the supermarkets were), and they were kind enough to bring them. If you want to visit Antalya and the surrounding beaches, this place is a fantastic location and great value for money.

Great apartments for medium to long stays in a very good location

+ The location right in the heart on Antalya in front of the historical wall. Above a tram station and next to all restaurants and supermarkets The view was beautiful in the Palm room balcony. The staff were amazing and kind

Not recommended at all

+ The location is excellent and close to the old city.

− My booking was in the basement. The furniture was old. The bed was not comfortable and made a loud squeaking sound every time I moved. The windows were at street level, so it was noisy and I could hear everything happening outside. Even with the curtains, I felt like anyone could look inside, so there was little privacy unless you put the blackout curtains. Worst of all, there was a strong mold smell that made it hard to breathe. We could not stay even for one night. I had to book and pay for another place to stay for the rest of our trip. I don’t recommend the basement, especially for people with allergies and families with young kids. Note: I cannot comment on the rooms above the basement as I didn’t try them.

Perfect Location for an Cheap, Cheerful, Amazing Stay!

+ The staff were amazing and responded quickly to any questions we had. Easy late check in process as we arrived after their check-in times. Cleaning ladies were limited in English but were still very watm/friendly and tried to help where necessary. Thank you 😁 Beds were very comfortable, air-conditioning worked a treat. Comfy living room with access to the balcony 👌 The location ot the hotel is amazing! Literally a few minutes walk from Hadrians Gate / Kaleici Old Town. Supermarkets, shops, parks everywhere within walking distance. Hob cooking, microwave facilities in the room came in handy as well as washing machine 😁

− Could do with a broom in the apartment. We were there for 12 nights and cleaned the room daily ourselves but had to go find the cleaning lady for a broom. Could also do with a toaster? No free nearby swimming facilities. Mermerli beach charge 800TRY entry per person to enter "their beach".... overcome by paying 500TRY to go to Konyaalti beach (about 20 minutes drive) through Uber, where there are loads of bars, shops and food places, parks and beach access. This is an amazing free beach, well worth the trip.

+ Central location, staff is very friendly, took care of all our needs quickly and efficiently.

− Some wires were sticking out from outlets, could be unsafe for young kids.

Old dump in the very centre of the city.

+ The best part is the location -- across from the Old Town and Hadrian's Gate. Close to the shops and to two tram lines.

− The so-called "garden room" is actually in the basement. The Sun never reached our room, and the air there was a bit damp. The door to the toilet didn't lock, neither did the door to the shower. The kitchen equipment was subpar. And nowhere in the description does it say that the doesn't have hot water. The only place where hot water could be had was the shower head, and it's impossible to get it to work satisfactorily. In short, the information provided contrasted with reality.

Disappointing

+ The staff were very nice and helpful, they responded fast really tried to resolve the issues we were having. I really appreciate their friendliness and willingness to cooperate. We were granted a late checkout which we appreciated a lot! The main bedroom was huge! They had the reading lamps by the bed, which almost never happens in rentals.

− - the worst issue was the noise that goes nearly 24h- from the street, the transpost, the scooter riding teens handing on the corner of the building at evenings and late night, one night the drunk neighbors were singing at 3 am, you can hear the loud music fro the sweets store on the corner during the day, and it gets worse on weekends. If you're happy to keep the windows closed at all times it might be bearable, but the balconies are basically have no use if you're not death. Not the family vacation we hoped for -very hard mattresses (2nd floor) (they provided extra blankets to put on for some softness however we both had quite bad sleep still) -tricky system with shower water -sewage smell from the bathroom pipes -the apartment has smaller signs of being worn down. Bathroom sink kind of comes off the wall, some rust and stains here and there -lots of construction items tand random objects on the street by the gate- boxes, wood, parcked scooters, sometimes you can barely step out the door. -no tea, sugar, pepper, napkins, paper towels, or anything extra in the kitchen except for the dishsoap and a sponge

Excellent stay

+ Maria House is conveniently located in Kaleiçi, 2 min from Hadrian Gates, lots of food options around, shops and supermarkets. It is also close by the famous luna garden. We loved that everything was in a walking reach. Tram stops just a few minutes away. We had the appartement all to ourselves and had options to be able to make our own breakfast. The keys were easy retrievable, only at first when me arrived mid night is was difficult for the taxi to find the location as it is like a side street from the may road. But all by all we enjoyed our stay and would be back at Maria house for sure.

− The only thing was the bed in the main room was a little too hard for my taste but that’s a personal choice. And the streets near by people start talking under the windows early in the morning. But that is expected in the middle of the city.
