− Room decor was tired with some light bulbs out. Breakfast was plentiful but mediocre in quality with little fresh fruit or western pastries.

Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel in Tashkent.
+ Excellent hotel. Beautiful architecture. Great location next to the Tashkent theatre and 10 minutes walk to perhaps amongst the most beautiful metro station in the world. Some great restaurants close by. Really friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

An Excellent Stay in Tashkent
+ Good location, right across from Alisher Navoiy Theater and a short walk away from Amir Temur Square. My room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a nice little balcony. Staff speaks good English and was friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The swimming pool was a nice place to relax, but the water was a bit too cold in late September even though the weather was still very warm. The breakfast buffet is large, with allergens clearly labeled, so I was able to find a few vegan options, including rice and beans (much appreciated as vegan protein can be hard to find in Uzbekistan), fresh fruit and veggies, and bread and jam, and I think a couple of the soups may have been vegan as well.
− Just a couple of small things: 1. The hotel is quite large and the floor was a bit of a maze with a lot of dead ends. Some signs pointing in the direction of the elevators would have been helpful. 2. The water bottles provided are near impossible to open, I had to take them down to reception to get help and was told this happens often - they should maybe consider providing a different kind of water.

A timeless classic in the centre of the city
+ Loved the central location, the overall feel/vibe of the hotel. All the staff we do very pleasant and helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast buffet. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It's a timeless classic - I loved it!
