Loft Host Yerevan

Great location, decent stay

+ The location was probably the best part of this hostel, very central and only a 2-3 minute walk to the popular food spots. The bed was alright, shower temperature was fine.

− The bathroom tends to get quite dirty at times, which is expected for a hostel for sure, but would help if it was cleaned twice a day. The beds get extremely hot at night, the AC is so weak and I found myself sweating awake most nights I stayed there. There is also a general lack of etiquette amongst certain travellers wherein they will be talking late into the night, but if another guest does that, they are reprimanded. Again this is more of a cultural thing but would appreciate if quiet hours were actually enforced

− The long term renters are rude.I feel like because of them the hostel doesn’t have the “hostel feels for travellers.Like there is no socialization.Its not the managements fault.

− In female room some women are leaving permanently. That's why the guests can sleep only on the top bunk. If it's comfortable for you - it's not a problem)

Good for a couple happy with the price and location

+ Perfect location, good value for money and a comfortable bed.

− Only downside is the lack of toilets, one per room and nothing in the communal area for paying guests.

Very Central Hostel Room with a Private Bathroom

+ It is right in the heart of the city, in walking distance to the main attractions, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, etc. It is a safe and quiet place. There is a shared kitchen, but we especially liked the private bathroom. My bed was comfortable, but my parents said that their bed was not as comfortable. The host said that they were getting new matresses. So, for the future visitors this problem will have been solved. The owners are very friendly and helpful people. They looked over our luggage after the check out until we came back to get them. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

good value and clean

+ very pleasant hostel! my flight was delayed and i ended up checking in around midnight — no issues whatsoever, which was a huge relief after a long travel day. the female dorm was quiet and cozy, with curtains around each bed that give you a surprisingly private feel, plus a massive locker for storing your backpack. the real bonus though is the bathroom inside the room, shared only among the girls in the dorm — always clean, and i had a lovely shower which after a delayed flight felt like pure luxury. on my last day i could leave my backpack for free after checkout, which is such a simple but appreciated touch. location is perfect too, right in the centre of yerevan. would recommend without hesitation.

− Bottom bunks in women’s room are occupied by people who live in the hostel for a long time and some of them were rude, moving my stuff without permission. Not hostel’s fault though.

Hostel suitable for long stays

+ Good location, near metro station and bus to the airport, several bus lines just within walking distance. There are lots of options for restaurants and supermarkets around. Staff is ok but the communication is really not easy.

− The guests and the hostel staff do not respect the quiet hours and the rules, room door is open until 1am with noises from common area. It is more suitable for long stay, not for short stay or tourists as people seem to stay in this hostel forever. Other guests do laundry in the bathroom. It is a pity that this hostel has a lot of potentials.
