Tropical island resort with good facilities.

+ The room looked over the pool area and the sound of water and the beautiful gardens with an array of tropical island plants like orchids and frangipani were stunning. Very peaceful. Room had all the facilities we needed. The breakfast was very diverse, I loved the fruit, an array of egg dishes, or cooked the way you want, and lots of pastries if you like that. The daily Indonesian sweet and in general the Indonesian breakfast were so tasty. The location is great for getting around. We used Grab, but nothing can be done about the traffic, so just be patient. Lots of seafood restaurants on the beach and the grilled lobster was so good. The pool was lovely and nice to sit out there. You had to get in early to grab chairs under an umbrella. Of course the staff were lovely. The shower was good. Really needed a break and enjoyed staying at Le Meridien

− Had an odour issue in our bathroom. Two steps with stone floor covering in the main room from the bed area to desk/lounge area were a potential fall risk for a senior. Also worried about this floor in bathroom - but no incidents!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Le Meridien. Comfortable room and bed. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful

+ I liked the size of the room and the pool access at my door was fabulous. The mattress was the most comfortable out of all hotels I stayed at over a three week period. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I liked its close proximity to the beach as watching the sunset from one of the restaurants along the beach was magical.

The

+ The greeting was a beautiful introduction to Balinese culture. So warm and friendly. Our room was out of this world. It was a luxury apartment! They managed to have a walk in wardrobe vibe. Separate bathroom room with a huge bath in the middle. It was the type of space we needed after a 16 hour flight. The property had organsied our taxi from the airport which was seamless and really helpful. The breakfast buffet was a treat and the food quality was amazing. Erica and Keisha were so warm, accomodating and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. The gym was quaint but really clean, slick and they offer fresh cold juices and cold towels. The swimming pool is salt water and we enjoyed the layout. The staff really makes this place such a brilliant place. Everything feels functional too. They have their own private exit and arrangement with local businesses so you can access the beach.

− There isn't enough pool chairs and the guests can be quite rude about saving chairs or just taking yours. We had to ask the staff for help regarding extra chairs. The rooftop bar and evening dinner didn't meet out expectations compared to the rest of the facilities and experiences at the venue. That doesn't mean to say it wasn't good- just we didn't enjoy it as much as breakfast or visiting another hotel to watch the sunset.

+ The pool area was lovely and the rooms were very big! Very close to the beach

− I think the food could have been better quality considering its a 5 star resort, and also considering the hotel is so lovely the area needs work.
