Turkish Hospitality
+ We booked our stay quite far in advance and the staff were always responsive to our questions and helpful. When we arrived, the kindness continued through the team members at reception. Our room was clean and comfortable, although a bit tight because of the location (in old historic part of town) The hotel was in a tastefully restored building. Breakfast served was excellent. It is not a modern, standard vanilla hotel but a boutique property that felt like we were in Turkey. Conveniently located to many of the major sights in historic Istanbul. We found the bed a little too firm for our taste. We mentioned it to the hotel staff and the hotel manager, Malik, went out of his way to remedy the situation. We were so grateful for his attention to our needs!
− As stated above, the room is small due to the age and location of the hotel. We managed fine and it was worth it to us to stay in this part of Istanbul. However, if you have an issue with a smaller room or travel with large suitcases, it could be challenging.
