Beautiful hotel, I would stay here again. The rating definitely should be higher than it is now

+ The location of the hotel is amazing: first line, the beach is sandy with no rocks, clean, has comfortable chaise longs and umbrellas; 15-20 min walk to the Side city center. The territory, the restaurant and the rooms are very beautiful, the breakfast is the same every day but good. There were reviews about noise from the nightclub but I didn’t hear anything (my stay included Friday and Saturday nights). The room wasn’t damp and didn’t have any smell. The staff is very nice and helpful.

− The bathrooms look a bit scary. There was white and grey marble but they coloured it with gray paint which is peeling off now. There was a little problem with lights and electricity, but handyman fixed it very quickly. The air circulation is a bit weird in the place, the top floor (where the double bed is located for 4 people house) air has no movement whatsoever.

Peaceful one week of stay, in stylish place next to great beach with low quality of property

+ It’s very peaceful and calm place, very nicely decorated inner courtyard. The beach is very close and rather clean, very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast is in a very nicely styled Gua Restaurant. Best rate goes to the designer, as the whole space is done in same very tasteful style. Food in the restaurant for dinner is tasty and nicely served. Also cocktails are tasty and well done

− Unfortunately my child could not find anything to eat in the breakfast menu. Simple fried eggs would have been great instead of hard boiled. The bathroom would need rather serious update, in the evening electricity was interrupted as well as internet. So if you need to work during the holidays, this hotel is not reliable. Also the air conditioning is build in the way that only first floor of Quadruple room is cooling. The top level with the kingsize bed stays hot. Also towel holder was not holding and fell down.

+ This is a wonderful place. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were always willing to help, with a genuine smile on their faces. The restaurant staff were fantastic too: attentive, friendly, and made every meal feel special. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy good food, and be treated well, this is it. Beautiful location right on the beachfront. The hospitality here is amazing and the team made us feel so welcome. This resort is perfect for anyone who wants to recharge, eat well, and soak up good vibes by the sea.

+ Kalia Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel for those who appreciate peace, friendliness, and bonding with nature. The location is absolutely fantastic - several steps to the beach, the beautiful promenade, and the old town of Side. I also love the staff, solid breakfasts, and the room facilities. Dissapointing

+ Hotel location is good close to the beach.

− Rooms are old warn out and not very clean. Biggest issue is the terrible smell from the toilet water holes. Being in the toilet was a pain and even despite we kept the toilet room closed the whole room had a heavy sewage smell.

− The property is nice, basic! The bathrooms let the overall room down however exceptionally clean.

Pleasant

+ Breakfast was not very good and many flies on breakfast that was open. We enjoyed the location and beach area.

− The electricity was constantly off and on, which gave us also very poor internet connection, and I had to work in-between, which made it very irritating. Restaurant is far too expensive for what you get, there are many much better restaurants in the area for much better value. It was also irritating that they remove our towels when we leave for a period, then we lose our seats and can't find new seats.

A perfectly relaxing and well-managed family holiday just steps from the beach.

+ We stayed at Kalia Beach Hotel Side as two families—ours with 4 people and our relatives with 5, booking 4 rooms in total. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They helped us find the most convenient room combination for our group, which made a big difference. A special thanks to Mr. Arslan, the hotel manager. He is a true professional with deep experience in tourism—he manages the hotel effortlessly and anticipates every guest’s need before they even say a word. The hotel mainly consists of one-floor rooms, with a few rooms on a second level. Those upper-floor rooms can get warmer, but all are equipped with well-functioning air conditioning. We also loved the little seating areas and sun loungers right outside each room—perfect for relaxing together in the evenings. The beach is just a few steps away, and it's fantastic—shallow, calm, and safe for children. You can also enjoy fun water activities like parasailing and jet-skiing nearby. The location is another huge plus: walking distance to historic Side, with its beautiful ruins, restaurants, and nightlife. If you want peace and quiet or a fun night out, both are easily accessible. The hotel’s restaurant is also worth mentioning. The service is excellent, thanks especially to Ali, the head waiter. He’s incredibly experienced, and things run like clockwork under his care.

− There’s really nothing major we didn’t like. The Wi-Fi could be stronger in some areas, and the upper-floor rooms naturally get warmer in the summer heat—but the air conditioning works well, so it’s not a big issue.

+ This hotel has its own private beach front and is very pretty. It’s a very ‘instagramable’ place which I also feel is the reason for its down side. Please read the remaining answer to know more

− I want to begin by saying that the cleaning staff and the staff at the reception were very nice. One of the staff members while we were exiting the beach front was also friendly. The good rating is only for them. However the staff who were at the restaurant and beach front on the first day we arrived were not amiable. Often times they’d ignore us/ pretend not to hear us when we’d call out to them. The first time we entered the private beach front, the staff just greeted us with the words “we close in an hour”, no hi, hello, nothing. Apart from that, ordering drinks at the beach front is a complete nightmare because the staff barely pays attention to you when you want to order, then take forever to open the bottles, give you a bill, etc. Sometimes you can ignore these things because we are all human and maybe they were just having a bad day. But it was funny to see how their whole demeanour changed towards guests who were there for pictures and to post things on Instagram. Such ‘influencer’ type guests even got better presented breakfasts. One more thing that you must keep in mind is that they reserve all the recliners on the front row of the beach. So you’d have to reserve in advance.
