− I pretty much showered with cold water, there were some times with no electricity, dirty AC filter, barely any water, therer were times that we didn't have water, poor wifi, not clean, old beds, dirty

Great Hotel !! Huge size like a studio suite !!
+ The host is very good at helping you to make your stay very comfortable. He cleans the rooms himself and does a 5* job. Really cares about his guests.

+ Great location in the middle of Soi Buakaow so you cannot complain about the noise from the bars as this is obviously in the heart of the action. If you want peace and quiet then stay in another area. Decent food in the restaurant downstairs.
− Overall the room was very old and desperately needs refurbishment. All the furniture including fixtures and fittings need replacing. The room was dirty. The host was very nice but needs to understand that being nice doesn't compensate for the state of the rooms. Constant problems with water. No back up water tanks. Got fed up with turning on the taps to find no running water.The host had to keep getting water from private companies and we had to wait around before we could shower.It got so bad that I moved out for my final week.

+ I have stayed here on 3 separate occasions, from 2 or 3 days to staying for over a week. And I dont see myself staying anywhere else from now on. Its perfectly situated on the bustling Soi Buakow, with everything within 2 minutes walk, an Amazing restaurant and bar down stairs, and the rooms are very large with a lounge, new aircon, large bathroom, and good sized smart TV with all the apps loaded (netflix, YouTube etc) ( someone's theres 2 TV'S!!!! One pointed at bed and one at lounge. Kitchenette with everything u need and always filled with water, cold too.... BUT,,,,, The absolute highlight is the owner and staff working there... If the owner pops in, he is the friendliest, most down to earth bloke who will always come and introduce himself and help you with anything u need or answer any questions... He quickly organised our room to be cleaned as soon as previous people checked out, then personally made sure room was cleaned and everything working , came and handed us the keys, AND........ told us....... "your luggage is waiting in the room for us" - he took 2 massive suitcases up to our rooms by himself. The only reason i hesitated in writing such a 10/10 recommendation for "Jolly's guest house and restaurant" was because il now most likely have to prepare and book well in advance due to how busy they might be now 5555. Check it out guys, even if you dont end up getting a room there, then definetly go have a meal there or have a drink and watch the entertaining organised chaos of soii buakow - whilst having a laugh with the amazing girls that staff the restaurant . Alot of fun..... 10/10 guys....... APPRECIATE EVERYTHING GUYS, SEE YOU NEXT TIME - Couple months. Hopefully. Take care xxxx.
