one of my favourite ever stays!

+ Everything: the location, comfort, value for money. But the thing that will stick with me is the kindness of the owner and the staff at the hotel; they treat you like family. I have stayed at many places, and nothing comes close to their hospitality.

+ Great location. They gave me the king room even though I chose another room. The staff was very friendly. Perfect for the price.

− Finding the entrance was a bit tricky. The gate of the building is open 24/7 and it needs to be pushed hard to open. The entrance to the hotel is on the top floor, right of the stairs.

− It was all good. The plumbing in Azerbaijan isn't the same as in the UK but that's life. Keep moving. All in all it was a brilliant place.

+ The location was excellent – the hotel is just a short walk from Nizami Street, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city center. The heating worked perfectly in both the bedroom and the bathroom, which was especially appreciated during the cooler weather. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was particularly large and well-appointed.

− he provided soap bars were very small; it would be better to supply one per guest (or larger bars) to avoid running out quickly. There was no mirror in the main room, meaning guests have to go into the bathroom every time they need one – adding a full-length or dressing mirror in the bedroom would be a useful improvement. The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, so air circulation was poor, leading to lingering steam and odors. Installing proper ventilation would make a big difference.
