Fabulous apartment, a real ‘Gem’
+ The apartment has been beautifully renovated and is in an ideal location. Maria was a perfect host making sure we had everything we needed (including milk) and also making sure we went to the right location for our ferry on monday.

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of Kos! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
+ We stayed at Italian Gem from September 6 days, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The name really says it all — it truly felt like a little gem in the heart of Kos. The location is absolutely perfect. Everything we needed was nearby and within walking distance, which made exploring Kos Town so easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautiful, very spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We especially loved the comfortable bed, the amazing air conditioning, and the lovely outdoor patio/balcony area where we could relax. Everything was clean, well equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. It really felt like a home away from home. A special thank you to Maria for being so helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and would happily stay here again when we return to Kos. Highly recommended — 10/10! ❤️

+ First of all, I want to thank Maria. The Italian gem is truly in the heart of Kos, in a fantastic location with great access to everywhere. Maria and her family are wonderful people, from check-in to asking if we needed anything on our other days. The house itself is very well-maintained, well-equipped, and provided a very clean and well-kept holiday. Towels, bathrobes, spares, all hygiene supplies, and kitchen equipment were more than sufficient for us. There are also many amenities such as a washing machine, manual dryer, and even an iron. If we come back to Kos, we will definitely stay here again.

Great place to start your holiday
+ Second year staying here on our trip through the Dodekanisos islands. Friendly and available host, super location just by the port, but just as importantly, by all the restaurants. It’s also spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This truly is a gem !
+ This truly is the gem of Kos old town. Maria was the best host with lots of information. Location is ideal - right in the centre only minutes away from everything. The apartment is like a home - every detail has been carefully thought about , even down to some wonderful treats left for us. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

+ Amazing style, the pictures show exactly how the apartment looks like. Modern place, with all amenities of good quality. Location is in the middle of the town, with all that you need in a 5 min walking distance. Our host Maria was very helpful and even stored our luggage the last day.
− Every morning at 7 am the church bells ring. You hear these also when all windows & doors are closed! It might interrupt your sleep, so be wary of this if you are a late sleeper (Falling asleep was easy though, as the bed and pillows are very comfortable). Electricity is activated with a magnet card that is soldered to the key chain. Because of this, you must use your phone light to unlock the door (in early morning and evening) due to little to no natural light in the hallway. The laundry machine is very loud, as mentioned by others, but running it while leaving the house is not possible because of the above: no electricity at the apartment when leaving the house. The fridge does run without the magnet card, so perhaps this should be changed so the laundry machine does the same…

+ Beautiful, large and well equipped apartment in a perfect location in the centre of Kos town. The owner Maria was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
