+ breakfast was abit ordinary compared to other places that i experienced. Room was a good size.

− Bed was abit hard

+ A spacious room. The breakfast starts at 7 am

− When we arrived there were two beds, two duvet covers but only one duvet. We requested another duvet. It took 4 hours and 3 reminders to get one. The first registration papers were wrong and we had to wait for them to buy papers to print more. The breakfast was served cold except for porridge

− No shower curtain in room. Breakfast very basic…

Staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The place was clean and bright. Nice location. Comfy

An average hotel for a short stay

+ 1. Quite close to a mini market and restaurants. 2. The room and toilet are clean

− 1. The property promised many facilities but did not provide them. Refrigerator and electric kettle were in the list of hotel facilities but not provided in the room. 2. Breakfast was served every morning by a lady staff. She is the only one that caters everything from cooking and cleaning. This made the preparation process inefficient. i.e. not enough fork and spoon, cups, and no hot water.

We would keep it as an option for our next stay

+ Room was clean and good for the price, we had everything we needed. Location was perfect, near to bazaar, but quiet area at the same time. We really liked that they provided a free water filler tank at the reception so we didn't need to buy water at all. Internet was working well too!

− Bed was uncomfortable, we don't have high needs about it but we could feel the strings in our back. Most of the staff didn't speak even small amount of English, we needed to use google translate. During our first stay (we came back for a second time at the end of our trip and I will write another rating about that), so at the first stay, at the end of the breakfast hours they didn't fill up the finished parts so the people who came for breakfast at the end, didn't have much food left...also they don't have enough tables for the people (during our second stay 2 weeks later, they changed the food problem which was amazing!). Bad smell from the bathroom but we saw that it's a general problem in Uzbekistan (had same problem in other places).

Left with so-so feelings

+ We came for a second stay at the end of our trip. Compared to previous stay, they solved the problem with breakfast and now it was big variety and enough amount, also started in time not like before (half an hour late). We got the same room as before, so bed was the same with the strings but otherwise good room.

− We wanted an early check in, communication was very difficult, because the guy at the reception didn't speak English and he was in a video call with his friends, talking loudly, and not much caring about us (we arrived around 6 am after 14 hours of train ride, very tired). We tried to rest in the lobby as he didn't help with check in, but he was shouting loudly with his friends. After asking again with a bit more power, he stopped the call, he let us in to our room which was not clean yet (which was okay with us) to be able to sleep a bit, they also gave us breakfast for compensation. Later when they cleaned the room, we got nice decoration on the bed, but they forgot to clean the bathroom properly. We felt so-so about the situation, they were trying to make up for the problems, but we felt like there's place to learn about how to treat a customer.

Great place to stay

+ Great location, very close to the Chorsu Bazar. Staff very friendly and good facilities

− The room smelled like smoke, I’m not sure if that was a smoking room but anyways

Enjoyable stay

+ Located in walking distance to Chorsu, and other historical places. It is authentic living quarters, so don’t expect the lights of a big city. Taxis are very cheap and travel is not a problem if you want to explore new city centers. Breakfast is plenty and tasty. Staff is friendly and helpful.

− I didn’t give 10 because of the very firm beds in our room. Maybe they have other beds. We managed but if you have back issues check if other beds are available.
