Nice family owned hotel near Aya Sofia
+ I stayed hotel peninsula for a week in September '26. Upon arrival I was given a warm welcome. This family owned hotel is very well located in Istanbul. For example Aya Sofia is less than 10mins on foot. Breakfast is good, the bed is very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and wants guests to enjoy their stay. He helped me with an airport transfer which was very much appreciated.

Fabulous location in Sulfanahmet district of Istanbul
+ It’s a beautiful building in a perfect location in Sulfanahmet. The rooftop has a wonderful view of the water. Walking distance to Blue Mosque and Sophia Haggia.
− Challenging without elevator but not unusual for Europe. The staff helped us with our luggage. Thank you!!

Wonderful great value hotel in the heart of Istanbul, and an amazing breakfast.
