+ A cosy place to stay for a few days in Almaty. A very friendly host, plenty of space for all the flatmates, a pleasant atmosphere – a place where you feel right at home.
− A little bit difficult to find because there is no sign at the door.

+ The owner was kind, I told her I ll ve arriving late as my plane arrived 2210pm, and when I did not show up at 10pm, she texted me. My late is after 10pm. I appreciate her concern Shared toilets, very clean Quiet neighbourhood and a grocery 5 minute away

Exceptional
+ All was perfect. Lena is a very welcoming host and helped us with all we needed. She s very sweet and offered us fruits also! Rooms and toilets are clean! There is a washing machine which is very useful after a trek il the mountains around! It s close of the center and very quiet also. You will find everything you need around.. groceries, restaurants parks.. We definitely will come back again!

Had a pleasant stay at the hostel
+ The host was really professional, helpful and kind. She went ahead of herself helping us in understand the city. The place was at a decent location and supermarkets and other things were reachable while walking. The facilities were really good and even when we returned home late, we could easily get into our rooms without any issues. The host arranged an early check-in for us free of cost and we could check-out easily. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfy stay at budget price.

Beautiful, beautiful stay! 💖
+ It’s clean, well-maintained, safe, quiet, and in a good residential location. Lena, the owner, is the best and sweetest host. Always with a warm and genuine smile. Always so thoughtful of your needs. I didn’t know how to use the washing machine and she helped me. I asked her to call the tour organizer for me and she extended the help with no hesitation. Lena is the kind of host you would want when you are in another country. I truly enjoyed my stay. As to the location, you could easily get to the nearest restaurants by foot within 10-15 minutes of walking. Kok Tobe, Bus # 12 stop, Kazakhstan Hotel — all within walking distance too.

Overall, a cozy, welcoming place with a caring host who truly goes the extra mile.
+ We had a wonderful stay at Hostel Aviator, and a big part of that was thanks to Liana, the owner. She is incredibly hospitable and genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. We arrived past 2:00 AM, and despite the very late hour, Liana was extremely accommodating and made sure everything was ready for us. Although she doesn’t speak English very well, she went out of her way to communicate clearly using Google Translate, which we truly appreciated. Throughout our stay, she checked in on us daily and thoughtfully recommended tours, restaurants, and places to visit. She was always helpful, approachable, and kind in so many ways. Even with other guests staying at the hostel, everything felt comfortable and relaxed. It really felt like living as locals in the neighborhood rather than staying in a typical tourist accommodation. The area is very quiet at night, making it easy to rest and sleep well. There are also convenience stores within walking distance, which made it very easy to buy food and basic supplies. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and local experience.
