+ The ambience at the lobby and the staff at the concierge and bellboys are nice people. The breakfast spread and staff at the restaurance are great.
− I have rated the staff as 'good' because the staff everywhere are very courteous, but somehow, the check-in/check-out staff at the counters need real hospitality training. I am dissatisfied with that counter staff. But the staff at the entrance and also the staff in the restaurant are well groomed for hospitality.

Very concerning experience – not recommended
− We booked two single rooms at the Goldfinch Hotel. One of the rooms was completely unusable during the first night. The refrigerator was defective and emitted a strong chemical, menthol-like odor. As a result, our airways were severely irritated while sleeping, which is a serious health concern. The next day, the hotel’s maintenance staff removed the refrigerator, but the room itself was still not usable, and we had to be moved to another room. At check-in, the exact amount shown on Booking.com was charged to our credit card. However, after checkout, we were informed via WhatsApp that an additional fee had been applied. Our credit card was charged without authorization. The explanation given—again via WhatsApp—was that Booking.com had allegedly calculated the tax incorrectly, so the original amount was supposedly wrong. This directly contradicted what I was told at the front desk at checkout, where I was explicitly told that everything was fine. Overall, this stay raised serious concerns regarding health, transparency, and business practices. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay, fantastic value for money.
+ The staff were very helpful, attentive and hospitable. The location was very central but didn’t feel busy or loud. Great value for money, and availability of facilities. I also had the most incredible Balinese massage.
− It wasn’t the cleanest, there were spatters on the walls/lampshade in my room. The pool area also didn’t feel very clean, I wiped down the lounger before using.

VERY GOOD STAY AS ALWAYS
+ GOOD STAY . THEY GAVE ME A LATE CHECK OUT TO COMPENSATE FOR THE LATE CHECK IN THEY HAD TO DO FOR THE PREVIOUS DAY AND KEPT SOME GOODIES IN MY ROOM SAYING SORRY .
