AVOID!They didn’t bother to inform me they overbooked my room until I didn’t text them one night before my flight

− Riddicolous place. They didn’t place an information about my room being shared, but this itself it’s not even the worst. They didn’t bother to inform me they overbooked my room until I didn’t text them one night before my flight! To ask about the check in. Booking of course recognised my claim, but the stress wasn’t worth it. Avoid them at all costs.

+ Nearly nothing. The location was acceptable at least.

− Nearly everything. The address they provide is for a much nicer hotel up the road. Trying to find this hostel is difficult as there is no sign and you have to guess a random entrance to a building. Booked a quad room for two, but received a message saying this was no longer available. Instead they provided a bunk bed for one of us and a single bed in a cramped room with two strangers. Would’ve left at this point, but unfortunately it was the F1 and we were in Baku by accident, so we had to stay as there was nothing left in the city for a reasonable price. The pictures are an outright lie for this place, as it’s filthy, cramped and smelly. There were hairs all over the bedding I was given. Dirty sheets between the end of my bed and the wall. The hostel owners/workers show no interest and I don’t think have smiled in years. Asked about wifi, they said it was currently having issues (so expected after having seen the rest of the property). Didn’t work once during my time there.

− Абсолютно всё! Начнем с того, что никакого хостела по этому адресу не было. На телефонные звонки отвечали на ломаном английском и сказали что указанный номер не является номером хостела. Фотографии, размещенные хостелом не соответствуют действительности! Они сгенерированы через ИИ! Когда поднялся на второй этаж, меня встретила распахнутая дверь и никого, даже стойки администратора нет. Просто квартира. Прикреплю ниже фотки и видео.

+ Great people. Well managed system. Flexible personality Uncle Hanif. I recommend this hostel to every tourist.

Bad

− 巴基斯坦人开的民宿，人不讲信用，谨慎预订。预订之后已经到地方了，结果告诉我房间给其他客人了，没有房间了，不得不现找其他酒店，无语死了。 这家没有牌子，顶多算是民宿，在一个像四合院一样的二楼上，楼是老楼，民宿的走廊非常窄，楼梯虽然有感应灯，但是还是很黑。

Exceptional

+ mujhe yeh jagah bohot hi khoobsurat aur sukoon dene wali lagi. Nizami street sy sirf kuch minute ki doori par tha, jo bohot convenient tha. Khana lazeez tha, ghar jaisa taste, jo unki beti banati thi. Owner bohot polite aur madadgar the. Mujhe wahan rehkar bohot acha laga, main zaroor recommend karunga.

Excellent experience at Ghani Hostel.

+ I've liked the location, hostel amenities, environment and especially the management, they are super friendly and always available to help and provide any support needed. Cleanliness is top level, food here is incredibly delicious and homely, rooms are properly aired and balcony gives a beautiful view of the city, almost all the tourists attractions are around the corner so staying here was indeed a blessing.

− Roommates can be messy sometimes but that's the perks of living in a hostel, I was over joyed to have wonderful roommates.
