I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

+ My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights. Our room was on the first floor, with a window directly facing the street and the parking area, and without a balcony. Despite the warm weather outside, the room was very cold and extremely humid. There was visible mold in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling, and the bathroom itself always felt damp and unpleasant to be in.. Clothes remained damp for days — I washed a pair of socks and they were still wet two days later. Even an umbrella would not dry inside the room. We tried keeping the window open for a long time, but it made no difference. The heating function of the air conditioner also did not work, despite trying it several times. The room simply would not dry. Eventually, after speaking to the reception, we were given a small portable heater. The bathroom and the room also frequently had a sewage smell. The room was not cleaned and towels were not changed unless we specifically asked. At one point we ran out of toilet paper and had to go to reception to ask for more. There were no slippers or other basic amenities apart from soap and shampoo. Another major issue was communication. Only one of the two reception staff members spoke some English, and his English was limited, although he did try to help us. The other staff member did not speak English at all. Unfortunately, this also led to a very frustrating situation regarding the room change. One evening we reported all the problems with our room to the reception staff member and were told that another room would become available the next day after the current guests checked out. He explicitly told us that he had reserved and blocked that room for us in the system so that nobody else could book it. We therefore expected to move to the new room the next day.

− However, when we came to reception the next morning, the other staff member had no idea about this arrangement. Apparently, the room had not actually been reserved for us, despite what we had been told the previous evening, and changing rooms was no longer possible. The previous staff member had apparently not made the reservation or properly communicated the arrangement to his colleague. This was extremely frustrating, as we had relied on what we had been told and expected the problem to be resolved. We ultimately stayed until the end of our booking rather than checking out early, because the hotel did not offer a full refund for the remaining nights. We were told that 1,500 TRY would be deducted, supposedly because we had paid by card. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, especially for tourists taking day trips from Trabzon. Meydan is nearby, and many tour buses leave from that area. There is also a police station directly opposite the hotel, which made the location feel safe. The room generally looked like the photos and had a useful kitchen, refrigerator, stove, and washing machine. However, there is no dryer, and given the humidity in the room, drying clothes was practically impossible. One of the reception staff members did make an effort to help despite the language barrier, and after we complained, we were eventually able to get cleaning and a small heater. Overall, the location and apartment facilities are good, but the humidity, mold, lack of basic housekeeping, street/parking noise, and especially the poor communication with staff made our stay much more difficult than it should have been. I would not choose this hotel again.

− The rooms at ground floor are very noisy as no soundproofing from street. Difficult to sleep. I stayed 3 nights and no one the room was cleaned up. One night the room was smelly from Somewhere
