Great small resort on a non-busy beach. Felt like I had the beach to myself.

My 2 year old son really enjoyed his time on the private beach & the pool. That's all that matters!
+ The staff at the resort were very helpful with everything (suggestions, arranging transport, first-aid support, currency exchange etc) The beach was private and clean and the pool was also easily accessible from the room. Food at the resort was also delicious, with many nearby restaurants available within minutes of walking distance.
− Difficult to find golf carts to go around without booking from before. Not needed, unless traveling with small children. There is a dumpster not too far from the resort. It can be seen on the way to the property. If it can be hidden a little, it would be great. Doesn't really affect the stay or anything but just a bit smelly when crossing it for couple of seconds.

It was okay for a one night stay. Definitely wouldn’t plan my whole holiday around this hotel.
+ The view was great from the room, bed was comfy, AC worked well, the beach chairs provided were nice and the beach wasn’t too crowded, the pool looked nice but we didn’t use it, breakfast was good.
− Shower had mold, the extendable shower head was broken, no conditioner, the walk from ta waen beach is sketchy- lots of trash, large garbage containers…it was the only time I felt unsafe during my whole Thailand trip. The phone numbers for the hotel provided didn’t work for either of us (from the US, using our international plans, also tried putting in Thailands international code and whats app without luck). I wish instructions to getting to the right pier and pickup were easier- we ended up having to figure out how to get from na baan pier to ta waen…and then walk from ta waen pier to the hotel when no one arrived to pick us up. It was quite the hike when it’s very hot with bags in tow and feeling a bit seasick from the ride from pattaya. We had emailed back and forth a couple times but apparently once we got to the island and attached GPS screenshots into the email showing exactly where we were, they didn’t get them, and that’s when we realized we couldn’t reach them by phone. Had to pay 400baht for hair dye transferring onto a shower towel. Not the nicest towels to begin with frayed edges and well loved, but housekeeping came from our room with towel in hand to the front desk as we were checking out like I was a criminal…. Embarrassing. Customer service is definitely not their top priority. It was my only bleh experience throughout our whole Thailand trip.

还算舒服的旅程，唯一的遗憾是走的时候不能给我们送到码头。
