Great hotel,would return

+ Location, staff very pleasant, pool at beachside really lovely. Gardens beautiful. Breakfast tasty

− The ladder at the pool hurts your feet. The beds are very hard. Too hard. Have been for many years to Bali, these are hardest yest

A good value for families, but has some flaws

+ The staff are wonderful and a highlight. Very helpful. The location is good if you want central Sanur. The beach area is only okay and you are on one of the more crowded stretches. Further south is nicer. The restaurant food is mediocre and overpriced, and the breakfast while having many options, is also only okay. The lower rate rooms are a good value for the location, and for a family the swimming pools and small play area are a big plus. A lot of families and retired people here. Couples might want to look elsewhere

− The food was mediocre. The A/C didn't respond to the temperature setting so it would get uncomfortably cold even when set to a higher temp. We had to keep turning it on and off manually. The room had a vague smell of mildew. Our room was not ready at check in time.

+ Location was fantastic and very friendly reception staff. Hotel grounds nice and clean and rooms very spacious. Private beach access with deck chairs was fantastic.

− Food delivered to room was cold. Only 2 towels given in room despite having 3 persons in the room (multiple requests required). Staff at egg station seemed the most unhappiest. Definitely not enough deck chairs (particularly at the pool bar). Not sure how they can justify having only 4 chairs for such a big resort.

Beautiful clean hotel with absolute best location but noise and mosquitoes from inside the room a problem.

+ The property was located on the famous Sanur boardwalk so walking to the beach, restaurants, snorkeling excursions, shopping local or even the Iconic Bali Mall was close and easy to get to. The property itself was very big but all the sidewalks, spa restaurants, and pools were in the midst of beautiful gardens. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful.

− Our room was located at the front of the property so a bit of a walk to the restaurant and beach side pool but not a real problem. The main problem was the noise. The music from the street side, front of hotel property could be heard until 11 pm. The complimentary ear plugs should have been a clue. The room was not well insulated from sound OR mosquitoes. Our last day we realized why. The beautiful sliding doors to our balcony had large gaps that let in sound and the mosquitoes. A major engineering flaw. Also it should be noted that this location, because of the coral reefs had very shallow water during low tides.

+ Staff - fantastic, very helpful and beautiful culture. Room - beautiful villa with garden view, AMAZING. Close to the main pool and oceanfront. Any noise dies down around 10pm, perfect room Food - great mixture of western and local

− Our friends stayed in a room close to the road and they had a lot of noise until midnight, but was quieter during the day to be by the second pool with kids and have your own space.

Deluxe Pool Room

− Lack of sun loungers and availability given the size of the hotel. Whilst we arrived on a busy weekend I feel this was pretty poor. i We ended up having to walk down the beach and pay for loungers. The small pool at the front of the hotel was closed too, due to maintenance. Whilst this reopened the day after, there are still not enough loungers in the area. We booked a deluxe pool room, the rooms are very compact. Learning for me is to take note of the room sizes. A middle aged couple, we arrived to an adjoining door from our room, to the family with 4 young children, this is not ideal. This has not been been thought through on renovations and should be considered on future reservations/bookings. Appreciate this was a soft opening deal but, for a 4 star hotel, feedback needs to be taken onboard. Re the sunloungers... has been mentioned on previous comments and responsed to, disappointing no action has clearly been addressed.

− As I do not like jasmine tea which was the only tea option, I suggest having ordinary black tea bags available together with jasmine tea
