− Just a couple maintenance mishaps with the doors and windows, its definitely old and could use a more modern touch.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this hotel.

− Made weird noises at night times it was very hard for me to sleep, i asked staff to come take a loom at it or change my room but they didn’t care, I also paid extra, my total was $500 due to early check in, our room had bad smell. I also got food poisoning from their filthy food. This hotel should be among 1 or 2 star hotels.

+ The location and view out of window. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff was doing very thorough and good job. Ibrahim at reception was very helpful and professional.

− My room windows were not sealed properly, we could hear wind sounds all night and day , music from nearby hotels and Resturant. The hotel is connected to adjacent hotel to access swimming pool and Resturant through a very confusing lifts access. Better access routes and signs can help customers.

Horrible, dangerous place.

+ Nothing, it is a horrible hotel that you should avoid at all costs

− Dangerous and deeply dishonest — avoid this hotel. Our experience at Crown Suites Hotel in Baku was appalling from the moment we arrived. Despite having a confirmed booking, we were told they did not have it and were then directed to their adjacent hotel, where they attempted to put us in a tiny room that looked more like a prison cell — for the same amount we had paid for an apartment at Crown Suites. We found the way this was handled extremely misleading. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning. Throughout our stay, we encountered misleading information and unacceptable treatment, from reception to the restaurant. Most seriously, we had a flood in our room that created what we considered a serious electrical/fire safety hazard. Despite raising our concerns, the hotel refused to deal with it. There was no meaningful apology, no refund offered, and no adequate response to what we believed was a genuine safety issue. Eventually, we felt so uncomfortable staying there that we simply wanted to get out. We stopped going to the hotel for breakfast or dinner and ultimately left early, despite having already paid. I rarely feel strongly enough to tell people not to stay somewhere, but based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Crown Suites Hotel in Baku, particularly if you are travelling with children or family. No hotel stay is worth feeling unsafe or having serious safety concerns dismissed.

+ The room was nice and big.

− Was given a downgrade and yet they still expected me to pay the original cost. Staff rude, unhelpful. Breakfast not great. Fyi courtyard view which we were downgraded to from sea view means looking at roofs tiles

You get wot you pay for.

+ Good decent large double sea view room. Nice walk along the seafront, good food spots on the same road and supermarkets(up about 30 steps up beind the hotel) all within 10 mins walk.

− Bathroom could do with a revamp. Beds have seen better days. No power in shower and luke warm water. Breakfast basic in the hotel next door. Swimming shuts at 7pm. Didn't get to see or use. Would not rebook. Booked 2 rooms, one was downgraded yet they expected me to pay for the same price... rather unhelpful staff.
