An enjoyable and affordable place to stay in Tashkent

+ I enjoyed my 4 night stay at the Clouds Hotel. Whoever designed and built this hotel that occupies the 5th floor of a new building has pride and high standards. My room was good sized, the bed was good sized, there was a desk and a refrigerator. The en suite bathroom was fine. The breakfast served across the hall was all of good quality food and tastily prepared. The location was convenient to downtown Tashkent by taxis, which are convenient and affordable. There's a super market across the street and restaurants within walking distance. This hotel compared very well to others, and the price was right.

− The signs on the street level could have more clearly indicated that the entrance to the hotel is at the rear of the building, tucked away and out of sight.

+ The hotel only occupies the fifth floor of a large building, but it is superb. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is one of the largest I have seen in Uzbekistan.

− The hotel is about a mile away from the train station and the Tashkent Metro station.

+ Reception staff accurate and helpful. Fridge with cold drinks to buy. Breakfast small but not bad at all.

− Hard to find the entrance at night, since it's lit only on the back of the hotel. Which is located on the 5th floor btw. Even the taxi had trouble finding it..
