Solo female traveler approved! Felt safe and met lots of great friends!
+ The location was PERFECT! I met some really great people at the hostel, and every employee worked hard to keep the bathrooms and common areas clean. The hostel has a rustic, older style, but the beds were comfortable. Harry, who organized the social events, was such a highlight! He was so fun and kind, made an effort to talk to everyone, and did a great job getting people involved. The bar crawl was definitely the most fun, and I loved how easy it was to meet people and feel part of the community. As a solo female traveler, I had a great stay! The secure building access gave me peace of mind, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my time here.
− The hostel itself is quite old, and the dorm rooms felt a little dark and spooky. The white sheets had quite a few stains, even though the beds were comfortable. Quiet hours could also be better enforced, as some guests were inconsiderate with loud conversations and slamming doors. From the top bunk, I could even hear chairs scraping across the porch, which was startling. I also would have loved more tours and activities available throughout the week. The biggest source of confusion was having one WhatsApp chat for all the Mingle hostels across the city. I wanted to attend Power Hour/yoga but found out the activities were happening at another location. Better communication about which events are hosted at which hostel would make a huge difference. Separate hostel chats alongside one larger community group could be a great solution.

+ Really nice atmosphere with events everyday so it is easy to meet people especially that there is a lot of solo travelers there! The bed are also comfortable with each having a fan and a socket

If you're looking for a hostel in Chinatown, go there.
+ Perfect location in Chinatown. Great staff and volunteers. A lot of activities, a rooftop jacuzzi, in-house bar. Super clean. This Hostel is part of at least 3 or 4 other hostels (than I know of) around this area. I've tried them all, and they're all really well tended, owner is often around making sure everything is good.
− For the price of this accomodation, you really can't complain about anything.

Great hostel in a good location
+ I love the vibes, the staff were amazing. Showers and toilets were clean. And the rooms were great, with good AC.
