Good hostel, consider booking the smaller room for better sleep
+ I got a free upgrade to the 4-bed dorm, which I think made a big difference. It was quiet and I got some good sleep, and the room had an attached bathroom (good size). The kitchen is a big advantage of this hostel. Friendly and helpful staff.
− In the original room (10-bed dorm) there was a baby - I think sometimes sleep quality is not the best here

Good hostel
+ I was a returning guest and I like this hostel. It's quite sociable and many guests stay for a long time. It's a good place to stay, very central, good facilities, you can cook. The team cares about making it an enjoyable stay, both for long-termers and short-termers. This time I met staff who could speak English and even Mandarin, besides Russian and Uzbek.
− The only things I don't like are that the big dorm can get quite stuffy, and that the laundry area is also the smoking area.

Good central place
+ Great location and sociable kitchen space, owner seems to care about running a good hostel, facilities are all decent.
− I found some of the receptionists a bit unhelpful (still asleep at 1 pm/a new staff member was looking at the back of my payment card too closely for my liking). I think my soap got thrown away because they forgot that I had extended my stay, but they did offer me a new one when I asked where it had gone.
