Great Location and Good Value in Old Batumi

+ The location is easily the hotel’s greatest advantage. It is close to Europe Square, right in the heart of Old Batumi. Within this price range, it would be difficult to find a better location.

− The Wi-Fi in my room was almost nonexistent unless I stood right next to the door, which was frustrating. I informed the management, but unfortunately, the problem was not resolved. The staircase leading to the second floor is very old and looks a little scary at first, although no problem at all. The room itself was acceptable, but the cleanliness could be improved. I found several long hairs in the bathroom, which was unpleasant.

+ Central location. All attractions at walking distance. Clean. Comfy mattresses. Slept like a baby. There is fridge, some dishes in the room. In the same building there is a supermarket. Huge balcony with drying rack. Good shower.

− A bit loud at night, roaring motors just outside. But that’s a downside of living on the central street.

+ Highly recommended for families! We stayed in this 2-bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and a single air conditioning unit was enough to keep the whole place cool. The kitchen has only the basics, but it was perfectly enough for my family. Note that the apartment doesn't have its own washing machine, but there is a shared one upstairs that you can use anytime, free of charge (though we didn't end up using it).The location is superb—within walking distance to many attractions, cafes, canteens, and 24/7 supermarkets. While the building is on a main traffic road, it is completely quiet inside when the windows are closed and the AC is on (it only gets noisy if you sit on the balcony). The main entrance to the building looks a bit weird at first, but safety is absolutely not an issue. The property is highly secure: there are two outdoor safety gates that require a password, and the apartment itself has its own secure safety door with a key. The entire neighborhood felt very safe as well.Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. We struggled to locate the building for about 5 minutes at first, but it wasn't a real issue because the host was online with us on WhatsApp the entire time and sent helpful videos, which allowed us to find it easily.On our arrival, the internet wasn't working. The host's brother came immediately to try and fix it, and when it still didn't work the next day, the host bought a brand-new router, making the internet super fast for the rest of our stay! Special thanks to the cleaning lady, Maka. She is incredibly kind and helpful; even though she only speaks Georgian, we communicated easily using mobile translation. We would definitely stay here again!

Very central with an amazing manager.

+ Very central, walking distance from restaurants, shops and the beach. Neat and tidy. Very nice balcony with a very nice view. Very friendly and helpful manager. She allowed us to store our luggage after check out. The room is very small, but good for a night or two.

For a guest house, this is a great option.

+ The host made it very easy for us by accommodating our very early morning arrival. Highly appreciated when travelling with young children. We had the 'family' room which provided more than enough space/comfort for a young family of five. I can't rate it a 5/5 because that would have to be a perfect property, but for standard expectations on private Georgian accommodations, this place exceeds the standard. Great location if you want to be close to the park/beach and the center.

Nice modern place, but mixed experience

+ Modern reconstructed space in a great location. Our room had a big terrace, which would be lovely to use in summer, although we didn’t get the chance this time due to the weather. The room itself is quite small, but perfectly fine if you’re mainly staying there overnight. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. There was a list of restaurant recommendations, which we really loved and found very helpful.

− WiFi connection was extremely poor — the only available network was actually from another apartment, and it didn’t reach our room properly. I wasn’t able to work because of it. The soundproofing could definitely be improved — we could hear people using the bathroom in the apartment next to us. There was also no microwave, even though it was mentioned in the description. The lady who contacted me said it was being repaired and promised to bring another one the next day, but never did. The payment process was quite confusing. When I wrote in advance, I was told there was no hurry. When we arrived (and she knew our exact arrival time), I asked again and was told the same thing — that we could do it whenever we were ready. I then suggested meeting the next morning to sort it out, but she suddenly said she needed the payment that same day. I agreed and asked if she could come then, and she said she would arrive in 15–20 minutes. In the end, we waited almost 40 minutes, hungry and a bit frustrated. It would have been much easier with clearer communication from the start.
