Friendly, convenient and comfortable
+ Excellent location, with easy access to the metro and old town as well as Fountains Square and local shops and bars. It's a bit like staying in someone's house (on the second - or third, if you're American - floor, so away from the noise), with a shared kitchen but (in our case) private bathroom; some rooms share a bathroom. The entrance isn't promising, but the rooms themselves are very clean - and spacious, and the shared kitchen means coffee is available!
− There were no coffee-making facilities in the room itself, but there was a shared kitchen. As is often the case with budget rooms, the lighting and seating in the room meant that it wasn't cozy, but it was perfectly comfortable for a night or two when you're out sightseeing all day.

+ The cleanliness is the best. The white is white and the black is black. Also the owner is very helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were spacious.
− You have to take off your shoes at entrance, but it is ok. Not a big thing. It is part of many cultures.

+ To be honest, I didn't receive the room I was expecting because Booking.com made a mistake. They automatically gave me a date a month later, and I didn't realize it. When I arrived at the hotel, I realized I was supposed to receive the room in a month, so the owner was incredibly kind. He made it possible to cancel the reservation and give me a room he had available. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same room; I had to go up some stairs, but I'm very grateful to the hotel owner for his kindness.

Geweldige ervaring en verblijf!
+ Het is heel fijn gelegen. Letterlijk 5 minuten loopafstand van de metro. Het hotel ligt op de 3e verdieping. In een monumentaal pand wat nog afstamt uit het verleden. Met een mooi uitzicht naar het oude binnenstad van Baku. Kortgezegd wonderbaarlijk! Hele vriendelijke eigenaar. Hij heeft me heel goed geholpen en was een zeer fijne ervaring en verblijf. Ik zal vaker nog terugkomen!! Heel erg bedankt voor alle aandacht en moeite!
