+ A small but well managed place, they offer free coffee, tea & water, they have fridge & steam iron facilities. Mr Rashad is a good host and their price is very reasonable. It is very near to 28 May Metro & Bus stops. Many shops are available near by.

− They have only one shared bathroom which has no exhaust, the rooms are a bit small and beds are not comfortable

+ Great value for money. The hostel is hidden away (we could not find it for a while), but that makes it quiet despite being located in a central area. I liked the "crowd" too - you could call it a kind of traveler's hostel. I appreciated the water, coffee, and tea available for guests.

− There was only one bathroom for guests, so there would be queues at times. Also, you couldn't pay by card.

Lucky to be a guest of this hostel

+ This was only the third or fourth hostel I'd ever stayed in, so I wasn't sure how comfortable I'd feel with this kind of accommodation. In the end, I stayed for 27 days and left feeling like I was leaving a home, not a hostel. One thing that made a big difference for me: even though it's a hostel, each guest has their own small private room. That alone changes the whole experience: you actually get a sense of privacy, which isn't something you'd expect in a hostel setting. The common area is spacious enough that guests can hang out without getting in each other's way. The place is always clean and cozy, with a genuinely warm atmosphere. I've stayed with different hosts before, and the vibe can vary a lot, from distant to friendly. Here, it was completely different: the host is extremely hospitable, attentive and helpful and actually listens when you have a request or a suggestion. Small things, but they make a real difference: free tea, coffee, and water are included, which isn't a given at every hostel. There's also a small terrace right outside, with a couch and a table, perfect for having tea, smoking, or just sitting outside without really leaving the hostel. I spent a lot of evenings there. The location is great too. It's close to the city center and the 28 May metro station, with cafes, restaurants, shops, and a mall within walking distance. There are also a few good bakery spots nearby, perfect for a quick, simple breakfast. So I'm happy with my choice. It's rare to find a place where you actually feel at home.

+ The hostel is conveniently located near the main train station and metro, while also being within walking distance of the seafront promenade and the Old Town. Even though it is in the heart of Baku, the hostel is tucked away in a quiet courtyard, so there is very little noise. The owner was very friendly and easygoing, and I felt right at home. There is also an excellent local restaurant on the same street, serving delicious food at local prices. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

+ Really enjoyed the stay here. I checked in at 4 am at midnight and the boss was there waiting for me. Don't miss the restaurant called Kava Baveria. The food is great and price is a bargain. The hostel is just 5 mins away from the bus stop of airport express so that help a lot too.
