A very pleasant stay with friendly staff

+ Privately owned traditional Thai resort. Staff particularly friendly…especially Nina at reception. Breakfast was really yummy with a good variety to choose from. Shuttle downtown was useful as the resort was in the hills above Patong Beach…too far to walk. I thought it was marginally cooler because of its elevation. We had a large pool access room for nine nights.

− The in-house Rice restaurant had very good food but was a little pricey compared to Patong central especially when you add in the VAT and service charge. However it was convenient to dine there. The resort has lots of stairs so it might be a bit challenging to someone with reduced mobility.

Nice place, out of the hustle and bustle. Fine for a fairly peaceful stay

+ Nice liking hotel. Nice pools that cascade down several levels. Really good breakfast

− A really long way from the main area of Patong. There is a Seaview but it is WAY in the distance. They have a shuttle to town but you have to book in advance to and from which isn’t always us convenient

Would stay again - pleased with room & value for $$

+ Both our side by side rooms were lovely clean spacious with magnificent large bathroom, looking onto the pool so can swim at our door. Our section was very private - breakfast was nice, plenty to eat & a pre arranged takeaway option for our early checkout before restaurant opening. The shuttle car to o& from Patong was helpful - more availability on times would help as big gaps between timetable & then not enough room for all guests so we had to wait for another car to pick us up from town but we were not worried about a 10min wait. Lovely outlook down the hill to Patong beach away from the hussle bustle of Patong - steep hill to get up down so don’t expect to want to walk it in the heat. We used GRAB taxi 180bht each way to centre when courtesy car not to our schedule.

− One staff member was firm but we worked out just her demeanour & was very organised so we accepted her manner

A lovely stay in a quieter part of Patong

+ We got the warmest welcome from Pitchy at reception when we checked in and immediately felt like family. The staff are really great and were one of the highlights of our stay. I celebrated my birthday while we were there and the team went out of their way to make a fuss and make the day feel special. The towel art is epic! 😄 We struggled to get a taxi on the day we checked out, and the team arranged for the hotel shuttle to take us even though it was outside the scheduled shuttle time, which we really appreciated. The hotel is up on the hill in a quieter part of Patong, away from all the craziness. There’s a supermarket right next door which is really handy for drinks and snacks, and a couple of bars and restaurants within walking distance just a little further up the hill. The hotel also has a scheduled shuttle into Patong.

− It is an older hotel and could do with a bit of maintenance and TLC in places. The hill is also really steep, so while the location is nice and quiet, it’s not somewhere you’re easily going to walk to and from central Patong. The scheduled hotel shuttle definitely helps with this.

The peaceful location away from crowded tourist areas!

+ We had an amazing stay at Baan Yin Dee Boutique. The room was spotless, spacious and beautifully designed with swimming pool views. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning with delicious tropical fruits, fresh seafood and authentic Thai Cuisine. If you are looking for a peaceful boutique hotel away from crowded tourist areas, this is a good choice.

− The peaceful location is one of its biggest advantages, so if you’re looking for busy nightlife within walking distance this may not be the right place.

Great hotel. Good value for money, superb pools and view and the staff were exceptional.

+ The room, pools and staff were excellent and good value. I liked the fact it is close to a convienence shop down the street and also a little street food vendor. The pools were excellent as I like to swim in the mornings.

− The wooden floor in the room creeked which meant it would disturb my partner when she slept while I was awake and walked around.

Our stay

+ Every thing that was on offer room staff and pool all very good.view of potong bay were excellent. They made my 65th birthday extra special. There was a charge for this but it was worth it.

− What i will say my opinion is it needs a little t.l.c.the room we had on the top floor was spacious but again the only couple things I will say is the air con needs to be slightly better plus the TV was 2 small for the size of the room .there could of been more sockets behind were the TV sat.the only other thing I would say is that the bathroom area above the mirror needs more lighting. This is a honest reaction to our stay .if had to put a percentage on it out of a hundred it would probably be 98 percent
