This dormitary is like a sauna because there is no air con.
+ موقعیت مکانی
− 25 degree heat in a dorm room that was supposed to have air con. Out of 10 people in there 8 of us could not sleep because there is no air con. Only two toilets for 30+ people

Pleasant
+ Location
− Uncofortable bed, very thin door from the room to corridor. You can smell cigarette smoke from receptionist smoking outside. The bathrooms could use a good scrub

+ I had a good time in the Areva hostel in Yerevan. Hostel staff: Maher and Shakhbat were very friendly hosts and tried to help with any questions I had. Location: Areva hostel has very central location. Main touristic places like Republic square with beautiful government buildings, Pond near Opera and ballet theatre, the Cascade, Matenadaran museum and parks with fountains are in a 10-20 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. Pharmacy, ATMs, banks, cafe, restaurants, supermarket are within 5-10 minutes of walking distance from the hostel. Good city public transportation was helpful to travel around the city. My room: I stayed in the dorm room (with window) for 10 people, facing backyard of the building, so there was no noise from the street. There were lockers for everybody and air conditioner in the room. I liked that hostel staff changed bed sheet, pillow case, blanket and towel after each tourist when they left. Privacy curtains were on each bed in the dorm room. Mattress was comfortable. Other rooms: I noticed several different rooms with four single beds, with two separate beds and with one big bed for two people when their doors were open. Kitchen: There is a well equipped kitchen in the hostel with everything needed for cooking (gas stove, fridge, electric kettle, microwave, dishes and frying pans, boiling pots for soup etc.) I also noticed iron and board if you like to iron your clothes before going out. Bathroom: I noticed two bathrooms with toilets and showers inside. There were hot and cold water in the shower. Cleaning: It was very clean in the hostel. Ms. Gayane cleaned hostel every day. Hostel guests also tried to follow hostel rules and keep it clean everywhere. Hostel provides laundry service for separate price. Wi-Fi worked very well in the hostel. Areva hostel looks the same as in the booking.com pictures. I can recommend it for short and long term stay.
− Individual lamp and small shelf (to put phone/keys) for each bed in the 10-person dorm room would be appreciated and useful, if possible. Thank you.

+ Fantastic stay. The location is perfect, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the housekeeping lady—she does a wonderful job every single day, keeping the entire place extremely tidy and spotless. The other guests were nice and respectful, making for a quiet, relaxing environment with an amazing vibe. Highly recommend. PBonus points: no mosquitoes and no noise from streets:)
− Can't think of anything!
