− There are many... First and foremost, it was not the apartment that I had booked on booking.com... I have taken the pictures which I can share with the concerned people for verification. There was no balcony/terrace but was mentioned and shown there on booking.com... When I reached near the property, neither the person designated to deal was picking up calls/WhatsApp nor anyone in the nearby market was aware of the location... Hence I had to spend 4 hours on roads before a local lady traced the agent and he reached there... This was too pain and insulating for me... Booking.com should improve upon these things... I've been using this app since long and this was first time I got into such trouble. Toilet seat (WC) was not working well. Mattress on bed was old and partly rotten. There were no toiletries available. No one bothered to ask me during my three nights stay there if the apartment needed to be cleaned up Location in my opinion was the only mentionable positive about this apartment.

Pleasant
1. Unannounced Apartment Change: Upon arrival, I was informed—without prior notice—that my reserved apartment had been changed to another unit. The new apartment was of noticeably lower quality and did not match the listing description or photos. 2. Delayed Check-In: I was left waiting outside the property for approximately 20 minutes before the host arrived, which was both inconvenient and unprofessional. 3. Missing Amenities: Several of the amenities that were listed in the original booking were absent in the substituted apartment. 4. Language Barrier in Agreement: The rental agreement was presented only in the local language, making it impossible for me to fully understand the terms I was being asked to accept. 5. Failure to Return Change: I was promised change upon payment, which was never returned despite follow-ups with the host.
