Very disappointed.

+ The view, of the mountains from the veranda was lovely.

− It was very laid back to the extent that it wasn’t a hotel that was looked after. The pool area was clean, the rest was rundown, as if no one cared. It could have been a fantastic hotel, but sadly was neglected. Lots of examples, but just a few there was no excuse for: no toilet paper, when we asked we were told it was coming someone had gone to buy it, 16 hours later still none. Curtain pole was coming off the wall, beer cans outside around the lodge, bathroom not clean, one set of towels for two, 16 hours later still the same. We left a day early and when we handed in the keys either they weren’t organised to realise we were leaving early or they didn’t care. There were a few people having a good time around the pool with music and to be fair we couldn’t hear any noise from our lodge, so that was not an issue. Our issue was, if a hotel cannot get the basics, toilet paper, towels, a clean bathroom to name a few, it is not my choice for a relaxing holiday.

Disappointing

+ The owner & his right hand man were very friendly and keen to help. There is a small swimming pool, which was nice to use. The views were good. Our room was a good size and was away from the main building, so very little noise.

− Extremely poor breakfast. Eggs & frankfurter sausages given. No choice in that. Dry bread, basic cheese, olives, jam, salad, cold chips (once). Butter provided 30% of the time. Fruit given the following day if we asked for it. Had to buy our own cereal, as the same food every day becomes very tiresome. Milk supplies very low. No fruit juice offered. Evening meal was supposed to be a la carte, as long as you liked chicken, fish or meatballs. Quality of cooking was mostly poor. Internet access very hit & miss. Our room had to piggy back off another room, but when that room was empty we had no Internet. During a power cut one evening, there was no alternative source of power, no candles, nothing. We had to use our phones for light. Our room was classed as "luxury". No tea, coffee etc, no toiletries, very little in the way of bedding, whole room slopped downwards, 2 towels. There was a working fridge, but you need to be good at jenga to fit your drinks in. Clean sheets, towels etc were provided if you asked for them. No one told us that housekeeping wouldn't be done automatically. There was a bin near our room, which we used several times. In the 10 days we were there it never got emptied. Whilst the hotel is in the mountains, be aware that the access is extremely poor and if you are not a confident driver, it will be a problem. There are 3 people working at this hotel. They all smoke, all the time. It is casual in the extreme.

Fake 5 star hotel. The views are stunning, facilities are bang average at best

+ The only positive aspect of this hotel is the view. It offers truly spectacular scenery, with magnificent mountains that look almost too perfect to be real—as if they were AI-generated. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking and one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. At night, the lights of Antalya glimmer and shimmer in the distance. The city sits at the foot of the mountains, creating a dramatic contrast between the urban skyline and the towering peaks above. It's a genuinely awe-inspiring sight and, without question, the highlight of staying here.

− If you're expecting a genuine five-star experience, I'd honestly look elsewhere. In my opinion, this hotel is too good to be a 3-star, but nowhere near a 5-star. At best, it's a 3.5-star hotel. The first problem was simply getting there. Google Maps took us to two dead ends, one ending at a mansion under construction. The roads are incredibly narrow, and we ended up doing what felt like a 20-point turn while trying not to get a puncture. The hotel should really send guests a recommended route before arrival. I definitely wouldn't recommend arriving at night. The hotel has so much potential, but the lack of maintenance is obvious. There are dead plants left sitting in pots, others are withering from lack of water, and the grounds feel neglected. Even the outdoor hanging egg chair had dirty cushions that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. We booked a Deluxe Suite after a 7-hour 40-minute drive from Cappadocia, we were hoping to relax. Instead, it was a real disappointment. I honestly questioned whether they cleaned our room. We found a wine stain in the fridge, hair in the Jacuzzi, used shower gel bottles left behind, and the Jacuzzi itself didn't work. The electrical sockets were dead, there was no Wi-Fi, the TV didn't work, the bed felt broken and was really uncomfortable, and every time the toilet flushed the bathroom smelled of sewage. We were also given one bath towel and what looked like two hand towels rolled up to pass as a full-sized towels. To be fair, the electricity was fixed—but only on our last night, which finally meant we could charge our phones and use the internet. We also paid 2,000 TL for dinner, and it wasn't worth it. I'd recommend eating elsewhere. The staff are aloof. This place has the potential to be fantastic, but it feels like maintenance and housekeeping have been neglected for too long. If you're paying for a five-star hotel, this isn't it.

+ Amazing hosts and a phenomenal location

Amazing views and food, but the place feels neglected and very different from the photos.

+ The view is absolutely stunning. The mountain view from the sauna bungalow is beautiful, and the breakfast terrace also has a really impressive panorama that we truly loved. The dinner was also very good — thank you for that. It was an extra charge, but the homemade food was very tasty. For two evenings with two dishes and salad we paid around 50€, which felt fair. The bungalow itself was okay, although there are still many things that need fixing. For example, there was hot water only in the shower but not in the sink. There were also damaged details on the floor and around the doors/electricity that should definitely be repaired. These are smaller things individually, but together they create the feeling that the place is not properly maintained.

− Honestly, our expectations were much higher than the reality. The photos on Booking create the impression of a small, stylish mountain resort with service, a nice pool area, bar, restaurant, chill zones, and a beautiful maintained environment. In reality, it felt much more like a simple bed & breakfast in nature. The entire property looked abandoned or untouched after winter — almost like nobody had stayed there for a year and now guests are suddenly accepted again without proper preparation. The pool was empty and dirty, the chill areas were dirty, and the breakfast terrace looked messy and not hygienic. The garden and grass were completely wild, and overall it looked like nobody takes care of the property anymore. I’m not saying wild nature itself is bad — it can actually be beautiful — but the problem is that the place promises something much more chic and polished in the photos. That contrast is disappointing. The staff situation also felt strange. There was a very kind couple trying their best, but they worked there as volunteers and often seemed confused about things. There was also a man who seemed like the owner or manager, and although he constantly asked how we were feeling, it didn’t feel like he truly cared enough to improve anything around the property. It was already the end of May, and I honestly don’t understand why everything still looked damaged, messy, and forgotten after winter. That’s the saddest part, because this place could truly be amazing again with proper care and attention. The price itself is actually not bad for what you get, especially considering the view and the option to order homemade food. But the main disappointment comes from the difference between what is advertised and what you actually receive. I really hope that someday this place will look stunning again, because the location and potential are fantastic. Right now it just feels sad and neglected.

− The road to the hotel is not accessible by car and very dirty Hotel staff didn’t tell us that there will be road works on Sunday morning so we had to move our luggage ourself down and up the hill. Neither they helped us when we asked about that Breakfast is small and not good, absolutely not like in their pictures

Great stay in nature with amazing views and food.

+ The view is amazing. We have been there for nature and climbing and that’s exactly what we got. Amazing views of the rocks during breakfast. The Turkish breakfast was really great as well. You can also have freshly cooked dinner there which we did (Turkish traditional food but also pasta, salads and co.). Everything tasted really good and I can recommend getting a side salad cause it was extra amazing! Also our host was super nice and helpful, thought us some Turkish and spoke great English. And they have super cute cats and a dog. We stayed in a cozy bungalow.

− Since it is quite far up in the village where not a lot is going on I would highly recommend a rental car to get to places. There is also a bus though. There are also lots of stairs so you should be fine walking those. Regarding furniture some of it could’ve been a bit higher quality (e.g. door of sauna not closing properly, wobbly faucet,…) but that didn’t really affect our stay so value for money was still good.

+ Stayed here for a week. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and really made the stay special. Wish them all the best. The breakfast was very good and the view from the restuarant was amazing both night and day.
