Disappointing
+ The location was good in the centre of Antalya and it was decent value for money
− First, the hotel name was not what it is in the booking, they call themselves 'ozzy homes'. This caused confusion with the nearby hotel which had the name 'Merkez' in it, so we had actually checked into the wrong place initially, fortunately I had not yet paid. Second, the owner didn't allow to leave bags before check in because of 'previous bad experiences'. Third, the description said it had a bed and instead it was a sofa bed. . Fourth, they debited me instead of reserving the deposit, which they did in Turkish Lire, and then gave me back Euros, which then resulted in me buying back the Euros at an inflated exchange rate. Fifth, they took advantage of the booking.com cancellation (maybe they deliberately failed to put the reservation thru correctly?) to debit my card in Turkish Lire instead of Euros so they could apply the exchange rate they wanted (again), thus skimming a good ten Euros in exchange rate spreads out of the payments. And finally, despite all this, they had the nerve to stress we should be quiet, before we even moved into the apartment, and had the nerve to look unhappy that I had not pre-warned them that I wanted to check out at 9 am instead of 10 am (!) as per booking, maybe because it was too early to get up on a Saturday morning. I wasn't expecting the Ritz for 50 euros per night but there are ways and ways to deal with customers. They should consider themselves lucky I gave them a score of 4.
