Very centralised location

+ The hostel is in a very central location, making it convenient to get around. The Old Town and many attractions are within walking distance, and the price is very reasonable. However, if you have a bigger budget, I would recommend booking a room with a private bathroom, as the shared bathrooms were quite dirty during our stay. I was also uncomfortable to find that male guests could enter the women's shared bathroom. After I reported the issue to the front desk, the staff responded quickly and resolved the problem. I really appreciate their helpfulness and friendly attitude. Overall, the location, price, and front desk service were great. If the shared bathrooms were kept cleaner and better managed, I would definitely give this hostel a 100% rating. I hope the management can improve the cleanliness and privacy of the shared bathrooms, as this would make the overall experience much better.

− Hostel overbooked us so we were stranded in Baku at 4 in the morning. (I had booked well in advance and my booking covered the day before our arrival so that we could check in at night)

+ Location, Location, Location Very good location for tourist. Very close to Sahil Metro station and also to nizami Street, fountain square and not too far from old city

− Bathroom, Stairs, Kitchen, Three toilets, one shower.. Okay Okay.. Not maintained well. Fixtures are very old and almost at the enf of life. You need to climb. No lift.. Old building. Three floors. Kitchen.. I guess it is not for guests. They make breakfast for guests.. But doesn't look very well managed. From fellow hostlers who stay long term in Baku, this is one of the good ones.

+ This is not the first time I come to this lovely hostel near the Sahil metro station in the heart of Baku. Everything was top-notch as usual.

Exceptional

+ I was suprised to see that hostel building was renovated for 99% since my last stay here. Building entry hallway, dorm rooms, eating zone walls were freshly repainted. Only male and female bathrooms need some love, cleaning, investment and renovation. I hope when I come back here next time, bathrooms will be renovated too.

+ The hostel was amazingly well located and the stuff in reception was wonderful! Communicative, nice, helpful, friendly. I wish all hotels/hostels would have receptionists like these people :) About hostel itself, the room was simple and the shared bathroom even more, however a big plus is that they changed my room for free due to some misunderstanding in my booking. That I appreciate a lot. Anyway i went there only to shower and sleep. There is also full equiped kitchen, nice dining room and terrace. Overall, this was a good stay and if I would come back to Baku, i would stay again! Thank you.
