No hotel/reception, no response, no assistance — extremely disappointing

+ Nothing. The location/view shown in the listing was the only positive aspect, but I was unable to stay at the property because there was no hotel on location or assistance on arrival. Can you imagine you walk for 2km with luggage at the location to find there is no hotel and there is no response to your calls, message, WhatsApp message. You don't know anywhere to go with your family and kids.

− I booked this property for 3 nights (22–25 September) and had an extremely bad experience. Despite contacting the property repeatedly — one week before arrival, 3 days before, 2 days before, 1 day before, and again on arrival — I received no response. When I finally reached the location after a long journey, there was no proper hotel or reception. It appeared to be a building requiring a PIN code, but there was nobody available to assist us or provide access. The listed phone number and email/contact options were also ineffective. I was left without accommodation or assistance. I have screenshots showing my repeated attempts to contact the property. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. I strongly recommend that travellers verify this property carefully before booking. Avoid this so called hotel at all cost.

+ I liked the location and the view! It didn't bother me that it's just near the street and it was noisy, but if you have a problem with noise, you need to consider that.

− I booked this property, because it said it has a balcony with sea view. There wasn't a balcony at all and the owner said that the problem is from Booking. The photos of the room published here showed a balcony with table and chairs, but this was another room on the next floor. On the same place in our room there was a sofa. When I told the owner he said all other rooms are full and in his system this is the room i booked. He offered to move us to the room with balcony for our last night only, but we decided we don't want to constantly move our luggage. Two days before my travel when i was checking the hotel, it still said the room with balcony is available, so i guess he shows the photos of only one room, but when you are already there he gives you another one. He asked me to pay cash in euro, but didnt reduce the price since the room was a cheaper one, so i stilll paid for balcony. I hate this kind of tricks, but i didn't have a choice, because we were two women alone in a strange city, so we staied. As you can read in other reviews the room isn't well mainained, but if this was the room i booked, i would be satisfied.

+ The owner was attentive and very nice. The location is excellent.

− It's a bit more run down than I expected from the pictures. Also it is a bit noisy with the high speed traffic traffic outside the window, late night calls to prayer, and dogs barking. Air conditioning kept dripping on to me.

The staff was very friendly. They changed our location to a different one, close by, but the new one looked even better.
